Last Saturday was one of the coolest Saturdays of my life!! And I literally mean coolest!!
A few of my church mates and I took a trip up to Mount Buller on Saturday.. and what a day it turned out to be!! I've never been to the snow before so i was definately the most excited among the lot of us!! We left at 5 in the morning and we took about 3 hours to arrive at the peak. The weather that day was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived we were greeted by light and fresh powdery snow, and the ground was already covered with roughly 10cm of snow.. it was absolutely lovely!! I was told that i was really lucky as it does not always snow like that..We spent the rest of the day snowboarding and mucking around in the snow. Copped a few bruises and bumps from falling..but its all good!! Here are some pics from my trip...
This is the view on the way up to the mountain. Its kinda like travelling up Genting Highlands, except that the trees and the road and everything else is covered in snow!!
Securing the tyres with chains..
Thats me on a snowboard!! yee-hah!!

My footprint in 10cm deep fresh snow!!

I totally enjoyed myself that day!! Would definately make a trip up there again next year!! Anyone would care to join me?
Lesson of the day : Snowboarding definately isn't as easy as it looks to be!! My sore body will testify to that!
